The CMX UHF-300CU UHF Wireless Chairman Unit is designed for professional conference and discussion systems where the chairman needs greater control over the meeting. It works as the chairman microphone within the CMX UHF-300 wireless conference system and provides wireless communication without the need for microphone cables between individual conference units.

The chairman unit includes a priority function that allows the chairman to interrupt or turn off delegate microphones when necessary. It also supports a Chairman Only mode, allowing the chairman to conduct a meeting without interruptions from delegate units. These features make it particularly useful for board meetings, corporate conferences, government meetings, seminars, hotel conference rooms, and other professional discussion environments.

The UHF-300CU uses UHF wireless transmission in the 740MHz–790MHz range according to CMX product documentation. It includes a built-in 3W Hi-Fi monitor speaker and a rechargeable lithium battery designed to provide up to 16 hours of speaking time and approximately 60 hours of standby time.

A built-in LCD display shows useful information such as microphone ID, signal level, battery status, microphone status, and control channel. The microphone also features a circular indicator light to show when the microphone is active. Its 400mm gooseneck microphone can be removed for easier installation and replacement.
