AVISION AD130 Document Scanner
The AVISION AD130 Document Scanner is a compact productivity scanner designed for offices, businesses, educational institutions, and document management environments. By combining a flatbed scanner and 50-page ADF, it can handle both individual documents and multi-page batches efficiently.
The AD130 supports duplex scanning and can scan A4 documents at up to 40 pages per minute / 80 images per minute at 200 dpi in both monochrome and color. At 300 dpi, scanning speeds reach up to 30 ppm / 60 ipm. The flatbed can scan documents up to A4 size, while the ADF supports Legal-size documents.
For image quality, the scanner provides up to 1200 × 1200 dpi optical/output resolution, with 48-bit color input and 24-bit color output. Its CIS sensor and LED light source help provide quick operation without a traditional lamp warm-up period.
The 50-sheet ADF supports paper from approximately 49–127 g/m², while ultrasonic multi-feed detection helps detect multiple sheets during batch scanning. Long-paper mode supports documents up to approximately 120 inches / 3048 mm at 300 dpi color duplex.
The AD130 also features automatic multiple-image cropping, allowing several photos, ID cards, or business cards to be placed on the flatbed and separated into individual digital images in one scan. Its TWAIN interface provides additional image-enhancement functions such as auto crop, deskew, auto color detection, and color dropout.
Connectivity is provided through USB 2.0 with USB 3.0 compatibility. The scanner supports TWAIN and ISIS drivers and comes with Button Manager, AVScan, PaperPort, and WorldCard Team software for document scanning and management. Avision specifies a recommended daily scanning volume of up to 4,000 pages.
